From offices in Boston, Massachusetts, attorney Jamy B. Madeja provides knowledgeable counsel in environmental permitting and land use issues, including wetlands matters, Chapter 91 and waterfront licensing. A registered Massachusetts lobbyist and a certified mediator, Ms. Madeja also provides counsel and legislative testimony on environmental and land use matters throughout Massachusetts.

Before establishing her own practice, Ms. Madeja represented the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as General Counsel to the Executive Office of Environmental Affairs as an appointee of Governor William F. Weld. In that capacity, she directed all legal, enforcement and regulatory affairs for five state agencies.

As an environmental lawyer, Ms. Madeja represents a broad range of clients, from neighborhood groups and municipal agencies to trade associations and mid-sized corporations. In many instances, she personally handles all matters involved in the case. She also supervises other professionals, including engineers, wetland specialists and others, overseeing work product and participating in strategic decision-making.
